Similar to “Survivor,” the American “Big Brother” is often viewed as the official start of summer. My “Big Brother” title designs are popular on YouTube, and I’ve made several “BB”-related videos since my MySpace gaming days, most of which can be seen below. My designs took elements from the actual televised intros created by Design on the Fly near Los Angeles, California, as well as my own concepts. Some of them featured the actual themes, while others featured covers that I created.
“CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER” FAN INTRO (2022)
Fantasy "Big Brother USA" Opening (2007)
Made with Ulead GIF Animator and edited with Windows Movie Maker, this was created fresh off the heels of “Big Brother 8,” one of the show’s most popular and controversial seasons.
Fantasy "Big Brother 14: All-Stars" (2007)
Made with Ulead GIF Animator and edited with Windows Movie Maker, this was created after re-watching all of “Big Brother 7: All-Stars” and also “Big Brother 6,” which is held as the gold-standard of the American “Big Brother” franchise. This is one of five related videos.
MySpace "Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Big Brother 1" (2008)
Made with Ulead GIF Animator and Windows Movie Maker, and revised in Sony Vegas 7, these were created for my planned “Real World/Road Rules Challenge” and “Big Brother” crossover. This was also during the fall of MySpace, therefore the game never came to fruition; it would have been my final foray into ORG (online reality gaming). Placeholders stood for where the players’ profile pictures would go. A trailer served as a casting video in several of the ORG forums on MySpace. I had five seasons of the game planned, all of them having different twists in the gameplay.
HappyMe001 "Big Brother" (2009)
Made with Ulead GIF Animator and edited with Windows Movie Maker, these were created for my planned “Real World/Road Rules Challenge” and “Big Brother” crossover. This was also during the fall of MySpace, therefore the game never came to fruition. It would have been my final foray into ORG (online reality gaming). The green placeholders stood for where the players’ profile pictures would go. A trailer served as a casting video in several of the ORG forums on MySpace. I had five seasons of the game planned, all of them having different twists in the gameplay.
"Big Brother" 2D Layout (2011)
After a long hiatus, I launched a new design in Sony Vegas for the 13th season premiere on CBS in 2011. This spawned another design for an ORG at Blogspot.com. These were also the first videos in which I used a cover version of the David Vanacore theme song.
"Big Brother" 3D Layouts (2012)
By 2012, I had gotten into 3D design (with an improved ear for music). One title was created during Hurricane Isaac, the other two an amalgamation of all of the titles in the show’s history. Those final two led to countless requests for fan intros. I declined them all.
"Big Brother 22" Fan Intro (2020)
My final “Big Brother” design, an HD remake of the previous titles by Design on the Fly from 2005.
